Bitches, I can't wait to tell you about my latest adventure up the Gap!
I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing engagement shoot in the Gap of Dunloe, in Co. Kerry and I can't wait to share some of the highlights with you! Nola & Shelby were an American LGBTQ couple on vacation in Ireland, looking for a romantic and adventurous setting for their engagement photoshoot. And I pulled out all the stops!
They choose the Full Irish photoshoot - My Adventure session, which meant I picked them up and drove them on some pretty scary Irish roads, to a few of my favourite spots deep in the valley. This drive, ain't for the faint hearted & required a lot of skill, patience and nerves of steel. The Gap of Dunloe, however does provided the perfect backdrop with its breathtaking mountains and crystal-clear lakes, and utter remoteness from reality.
As a Killarney photographer, I always love capturing the beauty of the Irish landscape & history, and this location did not disappoint!
We had an absolute blast exploring the area and taking advantage of the stunning scenery. It was an engagement photoshoot session to remember, and I felt so honoured to be able to capture such a special moment for such lovely couple, so they have some awesome shots for their wedding invites. Being a vacation photographer in Killarney, I have had the pleasure of working with many couples looking for engagement photography in Killarney and the surrounding areas. The light sets in different parks of the National Park at different times so it's important to get someone who understands the terrain to make the most out of the light.
Engagement photos in Ireland are a fantastic way to celebrate this milestone and get stunning couple photos that will last a lifetime. There's no shortage of breathtaking locations in this part of the world, whether you're looking for mountains, rolling hills, waterfalls, castles or tranquil lakes.
