Dear family,
I create un-staged, authentic, honest portraits of your family to treasure for a lifetime. Pressing pause on those moments you want to enjoy forever.
As a natural light, lifestyle family photographer, I capture beauty in those ordinary, chaotic, everyday moments, including the meltdowns.

I pack humour and adventure into every session and although I get some raised eyebrows from time to time, but I always get a heartfelt, genuine laugh.

Based in West Cork, Ireland, I have a deep love for the landscape of West Cork and Ireland in general. Growing up here, I know beautiful spots along the while Atlantic way such as Gougane Barra, Inchydoney, Barleycove, Baltimore Beacon, Owinchincha, Roberts Cove to name but a few. I have lots of wonderful spots, up my sleeve for you to choose from.

I capture families and newborns in Cork City, Macroom, Bandon, Blarney, Bantry, Ballincollig, Baltimore, Kinsale, Dunmanway, Millstreet, Clonakilty, Skibbereen, Schull, Allihies, Glengarriff, Gougane Barra, Killarney and Kenmare.
I have more than a few secret spots up my sleeve too.
Photography Gift Cards are available upon request. I am also available for vacation photography, if you do want to capture your magical holiday in the Irish countryside. Additional travel costs do apply.

- Pay the session retainer fee & sign the contract
- Full session fee is due before your session
It's that easy.
Once booked I send you a 'What to Expect' from your session and I'm available to answer any questions about the photoshoot.
Most of my clients invest between €650 and €1500 including albums, wall art and digital images.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ONCE I'VE BOOKED A SESSION?
Once you have booked a session with me, we will plan the specifics. I will answer any questions you may have, as well as assist with location selection and anything else you might need.
Included in all sessions:
*Included is a phone call or unlimited texts consultations to plan the session.
*Wardrobe/styling advice
*Access to an online gallery
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, I am a fully insured & registered I.P.P.V.A photographer!
WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?
I am based in Macroom and I travel within a 1 hour radius around Cork, West Cork, Killarney & Kenmare. For destinations outside of this, travel costs apply. I keep these to a minimum and I am upfront about them before booking. I'm a wanderer at heart so always eager to explore.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos between 8-12 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favourites, and also order prints! A sneak peek is also available 5 days post shoot.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The weather in Ireland is unpredictable. Due to the high volume of bookings, I suggest having an indoor location as a backup or else pack wellies and rain jackets. If the weather has an extreme weather warning, we can either change the time or reschedule to another date.
CAN WE GET PRINTS OR GET IMAGES FRAMED?
Yes, of course! You can print directly via your private gallery. I have chosen an artisan framer to provide beautifully handmade papers and frames to showcase your photography. Definitely get them printed and hung on your wall.
WHAT iS THE AVERAGE SPEND ON A SESSION?
Most families buy additional prints, frames and heirloom albums so the average spend can be between €550 to €1200 euros. Payment plans are available upon request.
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL WE RECEIVE?
This depends on which package you book. I edit all your photos individually and put the best ones up for you to choose. Your gallery is available to purchase if you would like access to all your images.
DO YOU BUNDLE SESSIONS?
Yes, if for instance you want maternity photography and newborn photography bundled together. We can arrange that, and the good news is, bundles come with a discount.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Wear what feels good and makes you comfortable, if you're not comfortable in what you're wearing, you won't be able to relax and enjoy the session.
Upon booking to will send you a bespoke wardrobe guide which acts as a guide to help you plan your perfect pictures.
DO YOU PHOTOSHOP OUR IMAGES?
I have a strict no photoshop policy. I won't edit out wrinkles, lumps or bumps. I like to create imagery, designed to show your natural glow and beauty and I want to capture children in their purest form. Please consider this when selecting a location for your session. Choosing an aesthetically pleasing clutter free background such as a beach, forest or park is a wise choice if you wish to avoid unsightly backdrops.
DO YOU SHOOT OTHER TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Yes I shoot couple photography, enagements, small business, intimate weddings and elopements. I love unconventional weddings vibes or anything a little quirky. If you like my style and want to work together. Just contact via the link above.
HOW DO WE BOOK?
Contact me via the link above, summer sessions fill up months in advance so I recommend booking sooner rather than later.
TERMS OF SERVICE
By booking my services, you understand that all photographic images remain the copyright of Sarah Kate Photography and cannot be reproduced, cropped or altered in any form. You agree to receive photos sorted and edited at the sole discretion of the photographer. All unedited files are the sole property of the photographer and will not be included in any final product received. All photos will be edited as seen fit by the photographer. Photos can be subject to online, advertising, marketing, and any other forms of media, press, and hard copy as the photographer sees fit, per the model release form that was signed by the client before session began. The client has full printing rights. The photographer is not responsible for printing issues. These need to be addressed with the printer. If the client is to publish any photos taken by photographer in any media, professional or otherwise, credit is to be given to photographer. There are no refunds once photos are delivered via online gallery or disc. Client agrees to not re edit photos or alter them in any way. Any re editing, or use online without credit to the photographer is prohibited.
