My main aim is to capture and document moments naturally.

I believe it’s my job to make sure that you feel calm, authentic, and engaged during a shoot with me and I will go above and beyond to ensure this is the case. I'm a big believer in capturing moments as is. I won't ask you to recreate a moment. My primary focus as a documentary wedding photographer is to capture your day in all its gory glory, including laughter, snots and tears. For couple portraits, I will always guide you so you don’t feel or look awkward in any of your photographs and that the photos look natural. I set 15 minutes aside for family portraits as I know these are important but for the most part, letting your day unfold your way, garners better imagery.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve gone to a fair few weddings. I’ve seen it all - the nerves, the wardrobe malfunction's, the teary parent, the annoying neighbour and the token crazy uncle. But one thing that I know for sure, is that regardless of how much planning you do, the wedding will always unfold as it’s meant to. People seem to swing between being extremely excited and extremely overwhelmed as they’re going through the stages of wedding planning- -so if you’re feeling either of those things, know that this is completely normal!

It's not until you meet Sarah Kate in person that you understand how amazing she really is. Her work on her Instagram speaks for itself. She can capture every fleeting glance, unposed and unscripted moments of joy, and still be a massive presence on the best days of your life. She made us laugh, and. Feel so chilled. I felt like I knew her years before I ever met her. She is the nicest and most beautiful soul who captured our wedding day is the most stunning way. There was no pressure or time lines. No bossing around for the perfect shot. She just knew where to be at all times and captured moments I didn't even see on the day myself.

I love working with non-traditional couples, for whom craic is at the heart of everything they do!

Gimme all the big feels for alternative weddings, elopements, destination weddings and micro weddings in Ireland. I'm an anti-stress photographer. I'm a stand back and let the moment happen kinda gal, rather than dictate every waking moment of your wedding. While I'm wholly inappropriate and I cruse like a trooper, there'll be no shouting at guests from me, so there won't!
