Some weddings are elegant.
Some weddings are emotional.
And some weddings are just an absolute craic from start to finish.
Janani and Michael’s destination wedding at Ballyseede Castle somehow managed to be all three.

The kind of wedding where people are tearing up during the ceremony and then, approximately seven minutes later, are feral on the dance floor to DJ Dan and Brian.
Iconic behaviour, which, as well, fecking know, I live for.
A destination wedding in an Irish Castle.
Yes, girlies, dreams can come true.
The Civil Ceremony at The Belfry
The morning prep was fun AF. With makeup by Charlotte O’Mahony and hair by Amanda Gowers, it suited the whole vibe of the day so perfectly too.
Meanwhile Michael and the lads were nearby pretending they weren’t nervous, which is very standard groom behaviour.
J & M got married at The Belfry in Ballyseede with the Munster String Quartet playing away in the background.
And there’s something about string music at an Irish wedding that makes everyone emotional, whether they intended to be or not.
Suddenly, the hardest man in the family is staring intently at a wall, trying not to cry. Classic.
They’d done a private first look beforehand, too, which gave them a lovely sense of calm heading into the ceremony.
Not rushed. Just present. Emotional and beautiful.
Which is rare now. People are wrecked trying to manufacture moments instead of living them.
