Ellen & Martin’s Sizzling Sneem Wedding

A Hot Couple, Hotter Weather, and the Warmest Hearts

I’m not saying it was the hottest day of the year in Sneem, but I’m fairly sure my camera started sweating. The sun showed up with the same enthusiasm as Ellen and Martin’s 250 guests.....like it too had RSVP’d yes, brought a bottle, and danced ‘til the DJ packed up.

Sneem wedding photos? Oh, you better believe I got them girlies.

This was one of those days where the love was electric, the laughs were loud, and the groom’s dimples were doing more heavy lifting than any gym in Kerry. Ellen and Martin got married in St Michael’s Church, just up the road from the Sneem Hotel, where the whole gang was getting ready. (Handy, that. No shuttle buses, no mad dashes, just plenty of time to soak it all in—and sweat like you’re at Electric Picnic.)

Let’s Talk About their wedding Day…

Ellen and Martin’s love story didn’t begin with some dramatic "when Harry met Sally" moment. They don’t even remember meeting! But somewhere between sneaky kisses in JD’s Ballybunion and a NYE rekindling in Dingle, they managed to create the type of connection that makes everyone else go, “Ah jaysus, isn’t that lovely?”

The wedding itself was all about the Music, dancing, and pure good craic. The priorities? Keep it real, keep it fun, and have a bloody good party with all the people they love.

Sneem Wedding Photographer's Dream Shotlist

From the first look (yes, they did one and yes, it was magic), to the last dance with DJ Big Jim, the whole day was peppered with emotional glances, hearty belly-laughs, and golden-hour kisses. They even left room for a few photos outside at sunset—because when the Kerry sun puts on a show, you don’t say no.

We didn’t get confetti or sparklers, but I swear to God, Ellen’s smile and Martin’s face every time he looked at her made it feel like there were fireworks going off anyway.

Being Ellen and Martin’s Sneem wedding photographer was like getting invited to the best session of the summer and being told, “Sure, just take a few snaps while you’re here.”

Their day was a celebration of everything that makes Irish weddings so much fun......family, laughter, music, and a healthy disregard for formality. (Also, there may or may not have been a dog named Lucy, Lucy Apple Juicy under discussion as ring bearer. Iconic.)
