When a Nosebleed in Barcelona Becomes a Love Story
Yes I didn't expect for it to start that way either
Editorial & Fine Art Tipperary Photographer

Fast forward a few years, and here we are, watching M and M say "I do" under the glasshouse at the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Kilshane House in Tipperary. Friends and family travelled from London, Ireland and Germany to help celebrate the day.

A German girl with impeccable taste meets an Irish boy with heroic instincts
(and, it turns out, a big heart)
in Barcelona.

Getting ready at Kilshane House - Bride & Groom Prep
The Morning: Billiards and Bridal Bliss
M was already up in the bridal suite (if I could move in there permanently, I totes would). While she calmly had her makeup done by the ever-talented @makeupbyyvonne, downstairs in the cellar bar, M and his groomsmen were doing whatever it is groomsmen do, probably telling stories they swore they'd never repeat.
Hair magic was worked by @bridal_hair_by_marie, creating soft, timeless waves that made M look like she'd walked straight out of a Jane Austen novel and into a Vogue editorial. And her bouquet? A vision in soft greens and whites, lovingly crafted by the fab team at @spring_st_flowers.

The Glasshouse Ceremony: Nice to see some sunshine in April
At 2:10 pm (because we’re not savages, we allow a fashionable 10-minute delay), under the lush canopy of the Kilshane glasshouse, the ceremony began. Miriam walked herself down the aisle, glowing, calm, and so clearly head-over-heels.
The incredible @sarah.the.irish.celebrant officiated with warmth, humour, and just the right amount of heartfelt mush. And as the Munster String Trio played, there wasn’t a dry eye—or a dry prosecco glass—in sight.

The sunny Reception on the front lawn
After the ceremony, guests mingled in the front rooms and spilled outside (thank you, Irish weather gods) while M and M snuck away for couple portraits down by the lake, on the bridge, near the Gazabo. Think sweeping veil shots, soft golden light, which makes it one of my most favourite venues in Tipperary to get the best wedding photos.
Music for the evening was by The Mixtapes, who had everyone on the dance floor—including M’s godson H, who made a very dashing ring bearer earlier in the day and boy did he know how to dance. The cake? A masterpiece by @cake_etc_limk which I'm still a little sour that I didn't get to taste!

Thinking of Getting Married at Kilshane House?
Honestly, do it. The staff are amazing, the light is divine, and there’s a glasshouse. A literal glasshouse. It's like something out of a period drama, but with better cocktails.
If you're looking for a photographer who will laugh with your nan, hype you up mid-veil shot, and possibly dance backup in your flash mob, book Sarah Kate Photography for your Kilshane House wedding.
