Tori & Daniel’s Dreamy Sunset Elopement on Dunquin Pier (Dun Chaoin Pier

) Dingle

If you’ve ever daydreamed about eloping in Ireland, this one’s going to have you booking flights and Googling “how to pack a wedding dress in a carry-on.

Tori and Daniel flew all the way from South Carolina to the wild edge of County Kerry for a day that was simple, soulful, and heartbreakingly gorgeous. Their plan? Skip the big production and have a two-person love story at one of the most cinematic spots on the planet, Dunquin Pier on the Dingle Peninsula. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, lads!

Eloping in Dingle, The Real Deal

For couples dreaming of Dingle elopement photos, there’s no place like Dunquin Pier. Wild cliffs. Atlantic spray. Sheep who don’t care it’s your wedding day. It’s drama and beauty all at once. Tori got ready at the cosy Cille Apartments, Ballyferriter (just a short spin from the pier) while Daniel stayed nearby for their emotional first look at Tigh an tSaorsaigh.

The ceremony itself was pure West Kerry: just the two of them, celebrant Pat Mangan, the wind doing its thing, and the sun sliding down behind the Blasket Islands. Honestly, if you’re searching for a Dingle Photographer who knows how to work that epic light and also hold your veil when the gusts go rogue, that’s me.

How did they end up in Kerry, Ireland, for their elopement?

These two first met while living in Savannah, Georgia, Tori finishing pharmacy school, Daniel dreaming up a food truck empire. A late-night Taco Bell first date (after Tori’s hospital shift) turned into hours of laughing, Tybee Island adventures, and, eventually, five years of life together. When Daniel proposed, he filled their living room with rose petals and candles spelling out Marry Me? Proof you don’t need a crowd to make magic.

We were two years in the planning of this elopement, life got in the way, and the date changed a few times. But to be honest with you, it was absolutely worth the wait, a million times over!

Why Dingle Elopements Are Magic?

Planning a Dingle elopement might feel like you’re running away to the edge of the map (and you are, in the best way). Here’s the thing: Ireland makes elopements easy. You get wild scenery, history under your feet, and a slower pace that lets you soak it all in. And because I’m a local Dingle elopement photographer, I can help with the practical bits: timelines around the tides, when the light hits Dunquin Pier just right, and which Dingle pubs are open after you say “I do.”

If you’re dreaming of Dingle elopement photography that feels intimate and cinematic (not cheesy or posed), that’s what I do. Just real, unhurried storytelling so you can get swept up in the day and trust that the photos will hold every grin, tear and hairpin fight with the Atlantic wind.
