The Shahan family from California, United States, were on the vacation of a lifetime in Ireland, and they chose Gougane Barra in Cork as the perfect backdrop for their family photoshoot. As a professional photographer, I can confidently say that their decision was spot on and we aimed for an early morning shoot to make the most of the seclusion!
Gougane Barra is a breathtaking location, with its serene lake, lush forests, and picturesque hills. It provided the ideal setting to capture the Shahan family's cherished moments together. The natural beauty of the surroundings complemented their vibrant personalities, resulting in a series of stunning, timeless photographs.
The Shahan family's trust in my wacky ideas was well-placed. The kids were alot of fun and I wanted to have fun with that and let them celebrate their energy. The end result is a collection of images that the Shahans can proudly display and treasure for years to come and hopefully hand on their wall as a lovely reminder of their holiday in little old Ireland.
