Luxury destination wedding with a homely feel
She'll be right mate - Liam and Jess's stunning wedding in good ole Kenmare, Ireland and it was sooooo good to hear an Aussie accent again!
Saying their vows in the William Petty suite at Sheen Falls Lodge, surrounded by family and friends in the kind of luxury venue that makes you believe in happy endings. As a wedding photographer in Kerry, Sheen Falls is one of my favourite venues, not only because they do luxury so well but it's done in such an unforced and natural way that makes you forget about the outside world and you can just switch off and be truest present on your wedding day.

The Morning Prep at Sheen Falls Lodge
Jess and her bridesmaids got ready at the lodge, with Marilyn McSweeney on makeup and Tricia O’Sullivan styling hair—effortless, elegant, no fuss. The sage green bridesmaid dresses complemented Jess’s Anna Sorrano gown (Ladies when I say this dress was bloody insanely gorgeous I mean every word of it), while Liam and his groomsmen kept it classic in suits from Tom Murphy’s Cork.

The Ceremony in the William Petty Suite, Sheen Falls Lodge: Civil, Sweet, and (Thankfully) Short
At 2:30 PM, Jess floated down the aisle with her Mam by her side in her Anna Sorrano dress (from Wed2Be, because why spend a small fortune when you can look that good?), clutching a bouquet by Yesca’s Flowers that was basically a Pinterest board come to life. I won't lie lads, the florals were pure class.
Officiant Alison Driscoll led the ceremony with warmth, humour, and just the right amount of "don’t-cry-don’t-cry-oh-God-I’m-crying" moments. And because Jess and Liam are sensible people, the whole thing was wrapped up in under an hour—leaving plenty of time for champagne, canapés, and the all-important "HOW GOOD DO WE LOOK?!" photos aka couple photos!

The Reception: Food, Dancing, and the Bentley Boys Bringing the Chaos
The reception, which is usually a quiet mingling and get to know you of guests was in fact a brilliant sing song and it was amazing to see people let lose and enjoy themselves.
Guests were treated to Gabi Bakes Cakes’ masterpiece (Jess and Liam’s only instruction: "Just make it taste unreal"—mission accomplished).
Then? The Bentley Boys took over. And if you’ve ever seen 165 people—ranging from grandparents to newborn babies—lose their minds to "Dancing in the Moonlight", well, you’ll understand why Jess and Liam are still recovering.
