Recently, I had the pleasure of working with a couple, who wanted to have their couple photo session in Glenbeigh, in a traditional cottage with views of a stunning lake and mountain range. My couple, Gabi & Michael, chose a traditional cottage as the location for their honeymoon & photo session. The cottage was situated on the edge of a lake, surrounded by lush green fields and the backdrop of the majestic mountain range. The cottage had a rustic charm, having been recently renovated to a luxurious standard, with dry stone walls, and a heated outdoor bath with stunning vistas. As we started the photo session, Gabi & Michael immersed themselves in thew experience. We started with some candid shots in front of the cottage, with the lake and mountain range in the background. The light was perfect, and the colors of the sky and the water were beautiful. We then walked around the cottage, capturing candid shots of the couple as they laughed and talked.
One of the highlights of the photo session was when we walked down to the lake. The couple sat on a rocky outcrop, and we captured some intimate shots of them as they looked into each other's eyes and held hands. Instead of a clear sky, we were greeted with dramatic stormy clouds. But as we all know, sometimes the best photographs are the ones that capture unexpected beauty.
